Being on the cusp of change is its own high point—the apex of all that has come before.
As creators, we can reach a series of these points throughout the creative process. As a writer, I could experience such an apex in a writing session, when I realize the change that needs to occur in the piece I’m working on. The moment is a mix of understanding, anticipation, and excitement for what’s next. This is the point when I glimpse the work taking on a life of its own.
